Trade agent: how to sell your product abroad (or buy smarter from abroad)
I find buyers, wholesalers and suppliers in Poland and abroad, vet them and run the talks all the way to a contract. Commission on results, no upfront fees. Three situations where it helps, four stages, and why an automation guy makes a decent agent.

The second thing I do alongside automation is trade agency work. It sounds grand, and it is something simple: a company has a good product or service and no time, people or language to find a buyer abroad. Or the other way round: it needs a supplier in Poland or overseas and does not know whom to trust. I step in between the two sides, find the partner, vet them and run the talks all the way to a contract.
Three situations where I am useful
You have a product and want to sell abroad. A maker of furniture, parts, cosmetics, software, anyone. I look for buyers, wholesalers and distributors in Germany, the Czech Republic, the Benelux countries and the UK, write to them in English and German, set up calls and sit in on them with you.
You need a supplier. A Polish company looking for a cheaper source of components, packaging or finished products, at home or in Asia. I find candidates, check them (registers, references, samples), negotiate prices and terms, and make sure the first delivery looks like the sample.
A foreign company wants to enter Poland. I represent it locally: I find customers, talk in Polish and handle the paperwork.
How it goes step by step
First the brief: what you sell or what you are looking for, how much, at what price, by when, and what you will not do under any circumstances. Then research and a list of candidates with what I know about them. From that list we choose together whom I write to. Calls, samples, negotiations, up to the contract, which I help with but do not sign for you. Finally the first transaction: documents, Incoterms, VAT in intra-EU trade, EORI for exports outside the EU, payments. After that I stay in touch, because the second deal with the same partner is usually the simplest and the most profitable one.
What you pay for
Results. A commission on the transaction value, agreed before we start, or a fixed fee for market research if you only want a list of vetted partners and will run the rest yourself. I do not charge for "readiness to cooperate" and I do not sign year-long exclusivity agreements before anything has happened.
Uwaga: An agent does not replace a lawyer or a customs broker. For a first export outside the EU it is worth having a customs agency too; I will recommend a reliable one, but I do not clear goods myself.
Why me, when I do automation
Because trade agency work in 2026 is half data work. Monitoring competitors' prices on Amazon and eBay, reports from Allegro, offers in several languages that update themselves, a queue of messages to a hundred wholesalers with the replies sorted by AI. I already have all of that built for myself and I switch it on for clients from day one. A classic agent has a phone and a notebook; I have a phone, a notebook and the robots.
How to start
The form on the site, topic "Trade agent / sourcing", two sentences about what you have or what you are looking for, and the market you are interested in. I reply with questions and a proposal for where to start. The first conversation comes with no obligations and no invoice.
Got a similar process? Let's talk, I will work out how much of it the robots can take.

Got a process that drives you mad?
Write two sentences about what eats the most time. I will reply with what can be automated and where to start.
